Who am I?
My name is Justin Wernick, and this is my personal website that I’ve put together to hold my blog and showcase my personal projects.
So who am I and what should you expect to find here? Well, I am a professional software engineer. Since software is a big passion of mine, this site has been filling up with software development related stuff. I am also generally interested in game development, music, open source software, my dogs, and how I can manage to get more done in my day. Occasionally, I find ways to make these interests overlap.
In terms of qualifications, I earned a degree in Electrical Engineering (with a specialization in Information Engineering) from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2012 (cum laude).
You can find my detailed CV here.
The views on this website are my own and do not reflect those of my employer, my clients, my family, my dog, or anyone else who associates with me.
In fact, given that I don’t go back and change blog posts (they are a snapshot of my thought process at time of writing), but I do try to allow my opinions on things to change over time, the views published on this website do not necessarily reflect my own most current opinion about something.
This is a blog, and as such it is not well proof read, it is largely opinion based, and while I try to have an informed opinion ultimately I may be wrong. If something is critical for you, don’t take my word for it, do your own research.
